THE ENGINEERING/COMPUTER SCIENCE EXPERIENCE
A CONTEST FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Compete to Win Scholarships or Cash Awards!
The College of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan-Dearborn will host the Engineering/Computer Science Experience on Saturday, March 18, 2006. The half-day program is designed to help high school juniors and seniors explore the fields of engineering and computer science.
Students will:
-Meet current UM-Dearborn engineering and computer science students and view projects like award-winning Mini Baja vehicles and robots
-Tour the college and learn about engineering and computer science programs
-Meet UM-Dearborn alumni working in engineering and computer science fields
-Compete in either engineering or computer science competitions for a chance to win partial tuition scholarships. (Winning teams members can choose either a partial tuition scholarships or a cash award.)
Individual students and 2-student team members are invited to compete. No advance preparation is required. Multiple teams from each high school are invited to participate.
